Though we are a species that pride ourselves on our tools, we didn’t always have them. How do you suppose we got things done? With our hands. Granted, not as much is capable with our hands as they are with tools, that’s why we created them, but that doesn’t mean our bare hands have become obsolete.
For example, here is a man known as the “Fish Whisperer”. He doesn’t use a rod or any fancy equipment, just his hands, his brain, and a little patience.
He lays there patiently on the dock as he sets his bait. Once a fish comes along to snatch his bait, he snatches the fish.
You can tell this old man has been at it for a while. He knows how to bait the fish and where to grab it. Also, snagging a fish with your hands must take a lot of practice. Like, martial-art-discipline-like practice.
It really is incredible, the things we can do with our bodies.
