Most traditional burgers are these sad little slivers of meat that need to be stacked on top of each other to be satisfying. This can be especially annoying when you consider the fact that burgers need to be a certain thickness to keep from drying out in the middle.
The BBQ Pit Boys have a knack for all things smoky and delicious, so they made this awesome video on how to make burgers the right way. This video shows how they put their own unique spin on the traditional burger. All you need is your meat, some bacon, and a can of beer.
The trick is to roll the meat into a giant meatball, then use the beer can to make a hollow in the middle of the meat. You should have a sort of meat cup when you do it right. Then wrap the bacon around the outside of the meat to keep it nice and juicy while it cooks.
You can put whatever you want into the center of the meat including cheese, more bacon (yum!), and different sauces. Try different things and leave a comment letting us know what works!
