Boiled eggs are a tasty nutritious addition to any breakfast. But they are rather bland to look at. Luckily, this video by the youtuber Gina Morano shows a simple way to jazz up your hard boiled eggs.
To do the trick, you need one side of a cardboard milk container, a pencil or stick, and two rubber band.
First, cook the egg to medium or hard boiled done ness. Then peel the egg. The egg needs to be a little warm for this to work. So if you run the egg under water to make peeling easier make sure you use slightly warm water.
Then fold the cardboard in half lengthwise and place the egg in the middle. Place the stick over the top middle of the egg, and rubber band the two ends of the stick to the two ends of the cardboard. You should have an egg in the center that’s being pressed down by the stick.
Pop the egg in the refrigerator for one hour, and you get pretty heart shaped eggs! This is a cool way to get picky kids to try eggs too. It might not be a practical everyday thing, but it’s a fun project to do on a lazy Sunday.
