Have you ever needed a way to secure a door but you don’t have the time or money to get a lock? There’s a pretty easy way to make your own lock and it only requires a fork.
Phil Crockett has created his own DIY way to make your own lock with a fork. First mark your fork at the depth of the lock. From that mark, you want hold the fork with a vise.
Bend the fork at a 90 degree angle. After that, cut the handle off. And that’s all there is to it. Once you have those two pieces just place the prongs in the latch hole, shut the door, and place the handle in between the prongs.
