If you’ve been browsing the internet for the past 4 years, chances are you’ve come across this baby, probably in a .gif form used to describe a reaction one might feel.
That baby is (then) 5-month-old Emerson who was reacting radically to his mother’s nose blowing.
His reaction is a priceless display of a roller coaster ride in the emotional spectrum; one moment he’s terrified to high heavens, in a state of agape with is eyebrows trying to reach the top of his forehead, the next he’s laughing and as bubbly as a teletubby.
One of the best things about infants are how raw their emotions are. You know exactly what they’re feeling when they’re feeling, and it’s contagious. You can’t say you didn’t crack a smile when Emerson started laughing.
