The sight of homeless people begging for spare change has become commonplace, especially if you live in a big city. Most people don’t give these people anything because they assume that they’re all alcoholics or drug addicts.
A man named Josh Paler Lin put that assumption to the test by giving a homeless man $100 and then covertly tailing him with a video camera. The homeless man, Thomas, went to a liquor store, but what he did was the last thing you’d expect.
Thomas came out of the liquor store with his laundry bag heavy and full. But it wasn’t full of booze, it was full of food and snacks!
Thomas went around and gave the food and snacks out to other people in a local park. He took the only money he had in the world and used it to help others. We should all take a page out his book in the future.
