Animals are really good at picking up on social cues. Somehow they can pick up on our mood, emotions, and even health without understanding a word. Some pet owners even report their dogs becoming protective of them if they get pregnant!
This dog knew just what to do when Brazilian cops burst into a drug den for a bust.
According to the New York Post, Brazilian police officers had been monitoring an alleged drug den for some time. When they finally made their move, they found the suspects as well as illegal items such as guns, weighing scales, cocaine, marijuana, and more.
The officers instructed the suspects to disarm themselves and hit the floor. Most dogs would fight or flee if their master was in danger. However, this little pup picked up on the situation and hit the deck just like his owners.
The dog laid flat on his back with his belly up and avoided all eye contact. In dog language, this means complete submission. This dog clearly understood the situation even though he couldn’t understand the officers.
In case your wondering, the dog was let go with no criminal charges.
