A Lab Chimp Saw Sunlight for the First Time and This Was His Reaction

What is more heart-warming than smiling chimpanzees? A Chimpanzees smiling because he sees sunlight for the first time. Chimps are often used in labs to test out medicines for biomedical research, and these little guys were freed after years of captivity and never being able to go out and see the world from behind their cages.

After a group of animal activists took the chimpanzees out of the labs, they were dedicated to making sure that they would receive quality car after a life of only seeing bars. What results is a touching moment as they step out into the sunlight and enjoy their time as members of a group—one even gives his new buddy a hug in all the excitement.

Under proper care, the chimps learn new social skills and also learn to do what their fellow primates do like form groups, trust their new caretakers, and climb trees. Just goes to show that a little sun never hurt anyone.
