The UK furniture maker Fletcher Burwell-Taylor, creates some of the most unique tables you’ll ever see. The table called the Fletcher Capstan Table, doubles in diameter with just a twist.
It was originally based on an idea that was patented by Robert Jupe in 1835, but after finding difficulty in reproducing Jupe’s table, the creator invented a similar but more efficient process for his own verison.
Although it looks like a ordinary table, there are really 962 components that make this design work and it took 15 years to perfect the technology behind the table.
