All it took was a lot of cameras, a month of planning, and one unsuspecting man from Istanbul.
Muharram Yazgan is a young man with a hearing impairment and can only communicate with others via sign language. Yazgan was going through what he thought was a normal daily routine with his sister.
That walk in the city soon became a series of unusual encounters for Yazgan. Everyone he bumped into on the streets spoke to him in sign.
A man saying ‘good morning’, the store clerk, a woman he bumped into on the streets, all spoke to him in sign.
Then his sister pointed him towards a message board which played a recording explaining everything. It was a notion that left Yazgan in tears. Well done, Samsung, well done.
