Everyone loves Coca-Cola. You serve it at parties, you get it with your rum, you order it in restaurants and when the waiter says, “Is Pepsi okay?” you say, “No, no it’s not. I ordered Coke.”
But did you know that Coke can be used for more than just drinking. Like baking, surprisingly enough.
Amy Locurto has a Coca-Cola cupcake recipe that’ll blow you out of the water, or coke. This particular recipe involves cherry coke and is baked right in the can.
It starts off like any other cake recipe, but then she adds two cans of cola into the mix. It’s definitely not a baking norm, but if it works, it works. Follow her steps correctly and the end result will literally look like your soft drink became a soft cake.
All that’s left now is to top it off and show it off.
