Andrew Dale Marcum, of Pennsylvania, was wanted on several charges of burglary, assault, abduction, domestic violence and more.
Pennsylvania Police attempted to track him down via Facebook postings.
It apparently worked because Marcum replied. His comment received over 1,000 replies…
Including one half joking, half serious reply from the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Richard Jones even got in on the action on Twitter, make it a cross-platform affair.
Hey Andrew Marcum we've got your room ready… pic.twitter.com/iYkANLD9hZ

The pressure eventually became too much for the 21-year-old felon so he turned himself in.

Lesson of the day? Don’t be an idiot on social media, especially if you’re a wanted criminal.
