I’ll admit; I very much dislike the image that Miley Cyrus generally portrays. She’s certainty not the ideal role model for young girls (most of the time.)
That said, I will admit that she’s a very talented singer and I was pleasantly surprised by her performance on the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live.
What one would expect from her is some raunchy, over the top, sexualized song about, well, sex and drugs. Instead, what we got was a very classy cover of Paul Simon’s 50 ways to leave your lover.
She was professional, classy, sang beautifully, and, best of all, there was no sign of a wrecking ball.
