Taylor Swift recently flew over from her Rhode Island home just for the purpose of visiting the ill at Boston Children’s Hospital. A patient, who had underwent bone marrow surgery, due to his leukemia, had the chance to meet her.
The musician noticed a keyboard in the patient’s room and asked him if he could play anything for her. He was just recently teaching himself “Someone Like You”by Adele and promises to play whatever he knew.
She promised to sing whatever she knew. The experience seemed so human and warm. Sometimes, people forget that these super stars are just as human as the rest of us. Her appearance was certainly the highlight of everyone’s day that day.
Taylor Swift is known for pulling public appearances for her fans. She spent around three hours visiting the children in the hospital that day. Whether you’re a fan or not of her music, it’s hard not to admire the kindness of this young soul.
