A Mother Comes Back To Life After Dying During Child Birth

Today’s medical science has made childbirth safer than it’s ever been. However, unfortunate accidents still happen.

A teacher named Erica Nigrelli was still teaching her class at 36 weeks pregnant. Suddenly, Erica began to feel faint and collapsed in the middle of the classroom. Students rushed for help and got her husband Nathan, who also works in the school, on the scene. The students, Nathan, and school staff coordinated to get Erica into the hands of medical personnel quickly. However despite the hospital staff’s best efforts, Erica’s heart stopped and they were forced to deliver her baby 3 weeks early.

It looked like Erica’s baby was going to be motherless. However, in a miraculous turn of events Erica’s heart started beating again. Apparently, Erica had an undetected heart defect that caused her heart to stop, and then start again. Thanks to this unexplained miracle, Erica was able to rejoin her husband Nathan and her new baby Elayna.

According to Erica’s account, she remembers being bounced up and “seeing sunlight”. After two weeks in intensive care, Erica is healthy and enjoying life with her husband and baby.
